Stuttgart Airport - that means: more than 9 million passengers a year in 2005, some 400 starts and landings a day; approximately 156,000 air movements a year and 62 airlines which offer flights to 110 destinations in 33 countries.
At the Stuttgart Airport there are more than 250 companies and agencies which employ more than 7,500 people.

A new service awaits passengers directly after landing at the Stuttgart Airport: The Welcome Information Center
Employees of Stuttgart-Marketing GmbH answer the questions of the guests, inform them of all offerings of the state capital of Baden-Wuerttemberg and its attractive experience region, sell tickets to events, souvenirs, tickets for the VVS and the Deutsche Bahn, book hotel rooms and also take over letter, package and Postbank services. And all of that in several languages

Excellent traffic connections: 
The Autobahn A8, which directly passes by the airport, makes a simple arrival at the airport possible for all passengers.
The S Bahn, which is found directly in Terminal 1, brings you to the city center and to the Main Train Station in ca. 25 minutes.
At the Stuttgart Airport you can also find numerous taxis, car rental companies and busses which also offer transfers and tours.

As of the year 2010, within the scope of the project Stuttgart 21, also regional trains and long distance trains will stop at the Stuttgart Airport.
Through the expansion of the airport, the cornerstone for the future was laid. With the construction of the air freight center at the southern end which has been in operation since 2002, the first project has been realized. The new Terminal 3 with an additional capacity of annually 4 million passengers will then begin operating in the year 2004.

The airport Stuttgart with its warm atmosphere is a good place to begin your vacation or your business trip or to continue your trip to another destination.
