MobilCity Region Stuttgart

Mobil City Mobil City is available at more than 40 wireless internet accesses in Stuttgart and Fellbach.  Notebooks, PDAs and mobile telephones which are equipped with wireless-lan technology, in short W-Lan, can go into the internet while on the road at so-called W-lad hotspots. Whether in one of the numerous street cafés on the Schlossplatz or at 32 stops of the SSB AG - wide band internet is always available. 

The economic region Stuttgart has developed this offer for natives and visitors to the region Stuttgart together with 13 partners. The Stuttgarter Straßenbahn AG, the state capital Stuttgart, the city of Fellbach, the state parlaiment of Baden-Wuerttemberg and Stuttgart Marketing GmbH operate MobilCity-Hotspots. The technology partners The Cloud, d-mind and m-way Solutions ensure operation without problems of the wireless and free internet and the free MobilCity-Internet portal.

The portal is even divided into the categories Events, Services, Leisure time, Restaurants, Hotels, Traffic information, contains electronic schedule information of the VVS adn thanks to Hitradio Antenne 1 gives you updated traffic information. Unique is the automated final device recognition through m-way solutions - whether cell phone, PDA or notebook, the MobilCity Portal is always optimally prepared and specific to the device. 

In addition the user has available the wide band internet. The necessary access vouchers are available in tthe i-Punkt in the Königstraße, in the Stuttgart City Hall, the SSB customer center Charlottenplatz, Rotebühlpassage and Degerloch, in the Schwabenlandhalle Fellbach and in the shops of the city works Fellbach. There is also the possibility of an online release.
