Documentation Centre for Staufer History

The Documentation Centre for Staufer History in Göppingen-Hohenstaufen provides a host of information on the fascinating history of the "Emperor Mountain" of Hohenstaufen and the imperial Staufen dynasty. The exhibition illustrates the origins and country of the Staufer, rural and urban life in the Middle Ages and the reasons for the Crusades. Remains of the castle foundations can still be seen on the mountain today.
