Johanniterkirche (St. John's Church)
A deconsecrated church from the 12th century, the Johanniterkirche in Schwäbisch Hall provides an atmospheric exhibition space for masterpieces by Cranach, Riemenschneider and other celebrated artists.
The church and its collection of eminent art treasures can be admired as a complete work of art that offers a wonderful overview of the art of southern Germany in the early modern period, which was dominated by religious themes.
