Stadionsches Schloss (Bönnigheim Palace) – Charlotte Zander Museum for Naive Art and Art Brut
The graceful Baroque palace with its grand staircase and precious stucco ceilings was built in 1756 as the summer residence of Count Friedrich von Stadion, chancellor of the Electorate of Mainz. Today, Bönnigheim Palace is home to the Charlotte Zander Museum. Charlotte Zander's private art collection is the largest of its kind in the world. Over the course of 50 years the Munich gallery owner has amassed some 4000 paintings and sculptures of naive art and art brut.
