In 1984, the compact Fräulein would never have dreamed that 40 years later she would still be on the boards that mean the rent for many... and in the rather conservative south of the republic in a genre in which others only dance for one summer. The joy is great, it must be shared and the occasion celebrated, which is why the motto for 2024 is WSV ("What... 40 already?!")

There will be no fixed program this year, Wommy puts together each evening specially and presents what she feels like: new stories, new songs, reviews and highlights in revised form - sometimes solo, sometimes with sister Bärbel, sometimes with a pianist, sometimes with a band... but mostly with Elfriede Schäufele, the cult room attendant from the SWR carnival shows. So every evening is unique, every evening is a kind of "wonder bag" - and the homepage www.wommy.de provides detailed information about the line-up for each evening.

So welcome to breathtaking evenings with beautiful chansons, sharp satires, colorful bon mots and light entertainment with depth for the heart, brain and diaphragm - always close to life and the pulse of the times. Every evening, Ms. Wommy Wonder, the veteran of travesty, plays the keyboard of great emotions and invites you on a rollercoaster of emotions from cabaret, comedy and chanson.

If you want to laugh heartily and not lose sight of the level, this is the place for you, and if Wommy doesn't know what to do, her alter ego Elfriede Schäufele will certainly be happy to add her mustard (without being asked). Much to the delight of the audience, and that's not about to change.

All in all, staccato punchlines with a gag density that you rarely find - and yet there's still time for contemplative songs and emotions in between, so that the evening has a long-lasting effect on everyday life, because "Laughter is the last weapon we have left when we find everything else to cry about!"
