most famous fairytale opera of all has fascinated audiences of all ages for centuries.

Hansel

and Gretel have to overcome a number of hurdles and life lessons in order to face the evil witch in the end with solidarity, ingenuity, faith and hope for the good. With colorful images and easy-to-understand texts, the opera takes its audience on a journey into the fairytale forest.


The

stage production by ensemble balance together with the soloists, in a shortened chamber music version by Andreas N. Tarkmann, is a colorful symbiosis of music with a versatile instrumental sound and a colorful acting scenery of singing and dialogues.
