Over 60 children and young people in the Rohr children's and youth choir are already rehearsing for the musical. Dances are being rehearsed, theater roles are being learned, soloists are being prepared, costumes are being prepared ... Will there be such great scenery this time? Let us surprise you.
The play describes one of the most outrageous trials in human history: the religious elite of ancient Jerusalem feel threatened by the itinerant preacher Jesus. They have him arrested and drag him before the Roman court with flimsy accusations. Under pressure from the incited crowd, the governor Pontius is persuaded to condemn Jesus to death by crucifixion. A fatal verdict. Only later does it become clear that it is the only death sentence that brings hope and life to many people. Surprisingly in the leading role: three angels who actively share in the excitement and suffering, but never completely lose their sense of humor, even in the exciting and sad moments.
