The tour for her 5th studio album with 180 shows worldwide is regarded as the starting signal for her rocket-like rise, which went down in music history as the greatest comeback. 40 years after the start of her incomparable solo career, "Simply The Best - The Tina Turner Story" pays tribute to the unique life's work of the most important artist of recent decades. Most recently, the successful production caused quite a stir in the course of a long legal dispute over the portrait of the leading actress and the world's best Tina lookalike Dorothea "Coco" Fletcher and gained international prominence and recognition following the verdict in the last instance. The show has already thrilled hundreds of thousands of visitors and will be touring Germany, Austria and Switzerland again in 2025.

From difficult circumstances to a stellar solo career with the "Private Dancer Tour"
Anna Mae Bullock, born on November 26, 1939 in Brownsville, Tennessee (USA), grew up in Nutbush and died on May 24, 2023 in her adopted home of Küsnacht near Zurich (Switzerland), became a global star and legend as Tina Turner. From 1958, she performed alongside her future husband Ike Turner. After the separation and the private abyss, her first solo tour for the album "Private Dancer" in 1985 was the outstanding comeback as a solo artist. Her legendary performance in 1988 in Rio de Janeiro in front of more than 180,000 spectators even earned her an entry in the Guinness Book of Records. In 2009, the singer with the unmistakable timbre went on her last world tour. This tour was the grand finale to an extraordinary career with over 180 million records sold, countless number 1 hits and chart positions such as "Simply The Best", "Private Dancer" and "We Don't Need Another Hero". Even after her death, Tina Turner remains an unbeatable role model for strength and courage.
The successful production "Simply The Best" is a tribute to the rock icon who shaped half a century of rock history and brings the unique Tina Turner sound live to the stage once again. The gripping and emotional musical biography was awarded "Best Musical Tribute Show" at the Reel Awards in Las Vegas at the beginning of 2020 and pays tribute to an outstanding and unique personality.
The world's best Tina lookalike: Dorothea "Coco" Fletcher as Tina Turner
"Tina Turner's performances were very different from those of other artists. I have always been fascinated by her incredible energy and stage presence," says Tina Turner actress Coco Fletcher. Inspired by the exceptional artist, she manages to imitate her idol perfectly. Coco's performance comes amazingly close to the original, both visually and vocally, so she is rightly considered the best Tina lookalike in the world. There could hardly be a greater compliment for Coco Fletcher than the fact that the rock icon herself felt that she was too similar to her in a past legal dispute. With the special timbre in her voice and the energetic show, Coco Fletcher brings the "Queen of Rock" back to the stage and thrills the audience together with the outstanding ensemble of live band, singers and dancers.
Fletcher, who grew up in Alabama/USA, celebrated her first successes in Las Vegas: There she performed with soul greats such as The Platters and Bobby Womack and sang successfully in shows such as "American Superstars". She has been part of the first cast of "Stars in Concert" since September 1997. Since 2004 she has regularly appeared on stage with Udo Jürgens and in 2005 she sang a duet with Jermaine Jackson (Jackson Five). Coco Fletcher became famous in Germany and Switzerland after Pepe Lienhard engaged her for his live tours and TV appearances. She also gave goosebumps on "Let's Dance" 1 & 2 (RTL) and sang for Quincy Jones at the "42nd Montreux Jazz Festival" in 2008.
