A park in the shape of a giant U that stretches 8 kilometres through Stuttgart - here you can see why Stuttgart is considered a particularly green city.
The "Green U" combines the palace gardens, Rosenstein Park with its magnificent old trees, Leibfried's Garden, Wartberg and the Höhenpark Killesberg to create a unique landscape for adventure and recreation. Here you will find an area of 5.6 square kilometres to relax in. This U-shaped park was started and systematically expanded during several garden shows.
The individual green areas are connected by delicate pedestrian bridges. When you walk through the "Green U", you cross major roads and a railway line and can walk from Schlossplatz to Killesbergpark without stopping.
