Udo Snack

This Way

in 272 Meter Start Route

Concert posters on the wall, neighborhood flair in a small space: for over 60 years, the small "Udo Snack" has been serving hungry city dwellers with currywurst, fries and burgers. The first chip shop in Stuttgart was opened by a Saxon: Udo Höroldt ran his snack bar in Bolzstraße from 1962. Two years later, he opened the "Udo-Snack" in Calwer Straße. Of over 30 branches in the 1970s, the last remaining branches of the original can now be found in Calwer Straße and in the east. Students, office workers and night owls alike queue patiently in the prime city center location.
