Berthold & Schwerdtner

Ukulele or harp? Western guitar or cajon? The music plays at "Berthold & Schwerdtner". On two floors, visitors will not only find a number of instruments and a repair workshop, but also the largest range of scores, sheet music and side instruments in southern Germany. The history of the oldest music store in Baden-Württemberg began in 1847, when the royal court instrument maker Heinrich Berthold opened his instrument-making workshop. Together with his son and Richard Schwerdtner, he opened the music store "Berthold & Schwerdtner" almost sixty years later. This has been located in the Königsbau since 1935.
