Haus der Wirtschaft Stuttgart

The Haus der Wirtschaft is the largest and most imposing building in Stuttgart at the end of the 19th century and is located in the city center - just a few minutes' walk from Königstraße. It was built at the end of the 19th century as an exhibition building for the Royal Central Office for Trade and Commerce: It displayed exemplary industrial products from Germany and abroad to inspire the local economy. The splendor of that time remains - and combines beautifully with the modern congress, exhibition and service center of today.

Following extensive restoration, the listed building now houses 5,500 square meters of exhibition space and nine congress and conference rooms. The state of Baden-Württemberg has bundled its economic development activities in the Haus der Wirtschaft Stuttgart: the State Trade Office, the Steinbeis Foundation for Economic Development, the EU Liaison Office for Research and Technology and the Society for International and Economic Cooperation (GWZ) support the state's economy with advisory and financial assistance.
