Staatsorchester Stuttgart

The Stuttgart State Orchestra, voted Orchestra of the Year in 2002, is one of the oldest theater orchestras in the world with a history stretching back 425 years. With around 230 opera and ballet performances and almost 30 concerts a year, it has a lasting influence on the musical life of the state capital. With seat cushion concerts for children aged 2 to 7 and the sponsorship of the Baden-Württemberg State Youth Orchestra, the musicians are also involved in educational work.
