The proprietor Gerald Hickey provides plenty of distraction in his pub to stop you getting bored over your Guinness. The Monday quiz, the Tuesday poker round or the enthusiastic singing at Wednesday's karaoke all help you make contact with the other guests in a short space of time. There's no shortage of musical entertainment either: on Fridays a DJ guarantees an exuberant atmosphere, and on Saturdays there's live music.
