Thanks to a donation from a retired professional firefighter, the people of Untertürkheim have a colorful collection of 225 firefighter helmets and 20 caps from different centuries and from six continents.

In addition to the original historical Untertürkheim helmets from 1878 onwards, around 50 international helmets are permanently on display in the training room of the fire station in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim and can be viewed by appointment.
