Theater am Faden

Into the good puppet room. Visitors to the "Theater am Faden" in Hasenstraße enter an enchanted world. In the former winegrower's house, Helga Brehme brings a gallery of marionettes, rod puppets and shadow puppets to life. For over 50 years, the puppeteer has been enchanting audiences young and old with her art. She was even awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2022 for her cultural relations with Eastern Europe and India. German classics, fairy tales from Eastern Europe, India and all over the world are performed on the mini stage. Before the performance, children can play with puppets and dress up in festive costumes and headdresses from all over the world.
