Benztown Battle Ship
The Benztown Battle Ship is a joint event organized by the Stuttgart hip-hop platforms 0711 Benztownstorys and Battle den Süden.
On September 10, 2026, two of Stuttgart’s largest hip-hop organizations will transform the Neckar Käpt’n into a floating stage for urban culture.
Together, we’re creating an evening for all hip-hop fans and showcasing the diversity of Stuttgart’s scene.
The varied program includes:
- Open Mic
- Freestyle Battle Tournament
- Dockside Dancing Session
- Graffiti Area
With these program highlights, we’re bringing together all elements of hip-hop culture in one place. The Benztown Battle Ship brings together established figures from Stuttgart’s hip-hop scene—including rap MCs, battle rappers, graffiti artists, and dancers who have been shaping their respective disciplines for years.
The ship will remain docked at the pier throughout the entire event and will not set sail. This allows visitors to join in at any time during the evening and experience the event at their own pace.
The event is complemented by the “Hip-Hop Meets Business” fair. Here, regional brands, companies, and creative professionals in particular have the opportunity to present themselves to an urban audience, make new connections, and become part of Stuttgart’s hip-hop community.
The Benztown Battle Ship stands for culture, community, creativity, and networking—a unique event on the Neckar River that brings hip-hop to life in all its facets.
