I can’t tell you who I am. You tell me. Peer Gynt, the Self-Realizer. The Doer. The modern person trying to find her bearings.
While people on the internet seem to outdo one another every minute in the grandeur and uniqueness of their lived realities, Peer seeks her place in history.
She is shaped by a world driven by excess.
The search for who we are, who we want to be—in this existential task of our time, Peer is the greatest.
However, in order to secure a platform—and thus a public audience—for her own persona, she must—now more than ever—hold her own in a competition of uniqueness.
And yet: in the end, no one can avoid taking stock of their own life. Was all that struggle worth it? Did I fight for the right things? And who did I become in the process?
Only others can provide the answer, for without them, we do not exist. When we ourselves have long since perished or been ground down between the millstones of self-optimization, they decide what truly remains of us.
And if no one remembers us, then perhaps we never even existed.
