#27 TIM ALLHOFF: VON BACH BIS BEATLES

Location:
Württembergisches Landesmuseum Stuttgart, Schillerplatz 6, 70173 Stuttgart

As a pianist, composer and arranger, Tim Allhoff moves confidently between classical music and jazz. With his profound yet contemporary sound, he breaks down the boundaries between genres. His most recent works bear witness to his versatility: a highly acclaimed Bach solo album (2025) and, most recently, a tribute to the Japanese writer Haruki Murakami through the music in his novels.

Together with the Vienna Morphing Quartet, he presents a program at the Bachfest that builds bridges between eras and styles: original compositions and works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Domenico Scarlatti, the Beatles and Radiohead in arrangements for piano and string quartet. The evening is characterized by openness: music should touch, surprise and connect, regardless of its origin.
