Four late summer evenings, four cinematic classics - again analog, again outdoors and again freely accessible: the 35mm open-air cinema in the park of Villa Berg invites you to a special journey through time for the second time.
A summer evening between film history, vinyl sounds and open-air atmosphere in the park of Villa Berg. In cooperation with SMIC, Montagegruppe and Wand5, selected films will be shown on original 35mm film - in proper style in the open air, with a projector, picnic blanket and changing vinyl art. Andreas Vogel will lead through the evenings with moderation and cinematic context.
With "Rote Sonne", Rudolf Thome presents a style-defining classic of German underground cinema from the 1970s. Cool, reduced and full of pop art aesthetics, the film combines social criticism, black humor and subversive energy to create an extraordinary cinematic experience between rebellion, big city feeling and cinematic radicalism.
An atmospheric open-air evening between analog cinema, vinyl sounds and a late summer night atmosphere in the park of Villa Berg.
