Susan Youens' reputation in the English-speaking world is immense. None other than British song pianist Graham Johnson writes about Susan Youens in his foreword to the book of essays "Der ganze Hugo Wolf" (to be published in fall 2025): "In this day and age, there is no one who knows more about German song than Susan Youens.
