50 Jahre IG Jazz Peter Fessler Solo/ Kolsimcha

Location:
Theaterhaus, Siemensstr. 11, 70469 Stuttgart

Peter Fessler
Echo Jazz Award winner and the voice behind the global hit “New York–Rio–Tokyo.”
Peter Fessler combines virtuoso jazz guitar with a unique improvisational style. Known as
the German voice of Disney’s Aladdin, this exceptional artist brings international flair and musical
brilliance to the stage. A must-see for fans of world-class jazz, pop, and Brazilian music

KOLSIMCHA
For four decades, Kolsimcha has stood for musical curiosity, boundless joy in playing, and an unmistakable sound. What began as an extraordinary encounter between klezmer, classical, and jazz has evolved into a musical language all its own—virtuosic, surprising, and full of energy.
The five musicians combine the finest nuances of chamber music with a tight rhythm section,
rousing grooves, and spontaneous improvisations. Through constant musical dialogue,
moments emerge that exist only in the present—full of tension, joy of playing, and surprising twists.
At times lyrical and poetic, at times rhythmically unbridled, Kolsimcha unfolds a sonic universe that defies
any attempt at categorization. With works such as “Autostrada,” “Dance in Eleven,” “Tango in Sevilla,” and the “Dance Suite” from “Tevye,” Kolsimcha presents a program full of color, emotion, and rhythmic energy. Virtuoso solos, sophisticated arrangements, and the band’s almost telepathic interplay make every concert a unique experience. After more than forty years on concert stages around the world, Kolsimcha still captivates its audience with the same curiosity, passion, and intensity as on the very first day
