Aaron Parks Little Big:
Aaron Parks Little Big, with their new drummer Jongkuk Kim, release their third album and their first on Blue Note Records. The album focuses on collective identity and communication in the moment and features compositions by Parks, Tuohey and Ginyard. The band spent time in intensive rehearsals before recording at Dreamland Studio. The music combines structure with spontaneity, creating a loose and open sound. The band has transcended genres and incorporated non-jazz influences in a way that feels more risky and vibrant, marking a new phase in their musical development.
