ABOUT POP 2026 - DEFIANCE

On June 12 & 13, 2026, About Pop in Stuttgart will combine concerts, music, discourse, workshops, readings and parties to create a lively festival and convention experience over two days - and we're part of it! Bunker capacity limited, no admission guarantee!

Defiance HC is a hardcore punk band from Stuttgart that was founded in early 2024 by Robin Khorrami (guitar), Sabrina Chaparro (vocals) and Marlene Feller (bass) as a joint project. A few months later, Daniel Knöpfler completed the line-up as drummer. The band combines their passion for music with a clear social message. Defiance HC deals with issues of social (in)justice and is particularly opposed to the oppression of women, the LGBTQIA+ community and all forms of discrimination. In addition to their music, the band is actively committed to female empowerment and wants to encourage women to take their place in the hardcore and punk scene. This mission is a central part of the band and is reflected in their lyrics, their appearance and their involvement in the community.
