Adriano Falcioni studied in Freiburg, London and Paris with such unique musical personalities as Marie-Claire Alain, Gustav Leonhardt and Jean Guillou. His successes at international competitions were followed by an impressive concert career. He is currently organist at St. Lawrence Cathedral in Perugia, teaches at the Bolzano Conservatory and gives master classes in Europe and South Africa. Italy has produced first-class organ composers, but with a few exceptions, their works are rarely heard in Germany. We are therefore looking forward to this concert with its exciting dialog between German and Italian music of the Baroque (Storace) and Romantic periods (Bossi).
