From baroque to jazzy: the University of Hohenheim Choir and the Stemning Ensemble join forces to create an Advent atmosphere.
Individual mass movements by Polish-American jazz pianist Steve Dobrogosz and parts of the "Misatango a Buenos Aires" by Argentinean Martín Palmeri will frame the program of traditional, well-known Advent songs. Concertgoers can also look forward to works by Georg Friedrich Händel, Jan Sandström, Melchior Vulpius, Michael Praetorius and Morten Lauridsen.
The 80 or so vocalists will be accompanied by a string quintet of musicians from Freiburg and Stuttgart. The concert will be conducted by Johannes Kaupp.
