The 2026 Advent season also kicks off once again with a concert highlight in a class of its own. For the 12th time, the “Adventszauber” will bring musical highlights to the Cannstatt City Church—traditionally held on the first Sunday of Advent, which falls on Sunday, November 29, this year. For years, this event has delighted music lovers from near and far. “Entertaining and captivating,” “high-quality performances,” “a delightful experience”—these are just a few comments from an enthusiastic audience.
This year, too, the event offers a wide musical range.
Our performers will make sure of that:
Marc Gremm and Janet Chvatal—two voices, one passion! With their incomparable voices, Marc and Janet will present, among other things, the most beautiful musical duets from *The Phantom of the Opera* and *Elisabeth*, as well as soulful ballads.
Daniel Mladenov—a charismatic musical theater performer who has wowed audiences in many title roles at the Füssen Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein, including in “Ludwig II,” “Cinderella,” and “Zeppelin.” His musical versatility will captivate you.
Madeleine Haipt, an acclaimed musical theater actress, is appearing at “Adventszauber” for the second time. Together with Daniel Mladenov and Marc Gremm, she will perform, among other pieces, beautiful duets from “Zeppelin” and “Cinderella.”
Anita Hofmann is a musical all-rounder. Critics say her voice cannot be described—you have to hear it. As a trained soprano, her musical range is also enormous: pop, classical, and numerous instruments. Goosebump moments are guaranteed. And perhaps her “Swiss Lady”—her alphorn—will be making an appearance again.
Violin Rose delivers live music at its finest on the violin (Zorana Memedovic) and the piano (Antonia Bott). The two have already impressed audiences and thrilled the crowd with their virtuoso performances in recent years.
