The Africa Festival Stuttgart will take place from July 10 to 13, 2025 at Erwin-Schoettle-Platz in Stuttgart-Heslach. To mark its 20th anniversary, the festival will be held over four days for the first time. The program includes live music from various African countries, dance and drumming workshops, DJs, a fashion show, bazaar, children's program and culinary specialties. A new feature is the AfroVibes Open Stage for young talents and spontaneous performances. The thematic focus is on Burundi, with an exhibition, film and lecture on climate change, as well as fair trade with an example from South Africa. The program will be complemented by a silent disco after the stage program. The event is supported by the Development and Cooperation Foundation. Admission is free.
