Afrika Film Festival: Black Tea

Location:
Lindenmuseum Stuttgart, Hegelplatz 1, 70174 Stuttgart

It is a poetic love drama, interwoven with humanity and a deep love for its characters. The film takes a highly fascinating look at the intertwining of cultures in today's globalized world.
Born in Mauritania and raised in Mali, Black Tea is the director's latest work after Timbuktu (2014).
Timbuktu was awarded the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury in Cannes and seven Césars, among others, and was in the running for the Foreign Oscar for Mauritania.

Director: Abderrahmane Sissako, France/Luxembourg/Taiwan/Mauritania, 2025, 109 min.
