Afrika Film Festival: Lusala

Young Lusala grows up with his violent father in the countryside. After his successful escape, Lusala is adopted by a wealthy family in the metropolis of Nairobi. The memories of his terrible childhood experiences haunt the boy.
As he grows older, Lusala has to leave his sheltered home. His foster parents decide that he should stand on his own two feet. Lusala is motivated at first, but the demons of the past are not so easy to exorcize.
