Rasmus Syman (born in 1985 in the Ruhr region) has lived in Berlin since 2012 and is one of the most sought-after stand-up comedians on the German comedy scene.
After working as a mail carrier, bartender, game developer, design instructor, and freelance IT professional, he discovered comedy relatively late in life in 2019—and quickly established himself as a headliner in clubs across Germany. He has already toured as a support act with Filiz Tasdan, Fabi Rommel, and Michael Mittermeier.
In addition to his stage work, he has been working as a comedy writer since 2022, including for productions by Comedy Central, Amazon Prime, and JOYN. In 2025, he was part of the writers’ room for the fourth season of the SWR sitcom “Almania,” and in the fall of 2026, his first book, “Ich bleib morgen liegen,” will be published by Trabanten-Verlag.
Since May 2025, he has been touring with his first solo show, “Alles Ego.” His comedy is personal and self-deprecating, but also uncomfortably precise and biting.
