Class books Readings for school classes with Filiz Penzkofer at the Literaturhaus Stuttgart
In an involuntary Berlin flat share of the "Betreuten Wohnen e. V. Hermannplatz" live:
a) Rabea, who likes to imitate bird calls, preferably cranes, during her frequent panic attacks, b) Queen Tiger, self-proclaimed Ebay voodoo witch, who casts love spells in the apartment with the help of gnawed chicken bones, and c) Musti, a Syrian refugee who wants to spice up his German language skills with (narrowly missed) phrases. The three of them really have nothing in common until the grumpy owner of the house supposedly dies and they are convinced that they have to get rid of the corpse and her pug. It is inevitable that everything that can go wrong will go wrong. Filiz Penzkofer works as a freelance author and journalist. She has previously appeared as a radio columnist, led theater courses for children and made films with young people, and this year she is a Kranichstein youth literature scholarship holder.
The reading takes place in cooperation with the Arbeitskreis für Jugendliteratur, the Young Literature Houses and the German Literature Fund.
Additionally bookable for one class: Writing workshop with the author from 10.45 to 12.45 a.m.
