"Everything must go!" - This is the motto under which Wommy sweeps across the stage at the Theaterhaus this summer with an energetic mix of cabaret comedy, chanson and travesty. This is an emotional clean sweep and humorous inventory - in the head, in the heart and in the junk room of feelings. What has piled up comes out, what needs to be said is said, and what is long overdue flies off the shelf of habit with a flourish.
Wommy is dedicated to social absurdities, personal sensitivities and trenchant observations about human togetherness and antagonism as if there were no tomorrow. Between biting punchlines and contemplative moments of song, an evening unfolds that exposes, disarms and seduces in equal measure - and shows with sparkling accents how liberating it can be if you don't take yourself too seriously.
When so much dust is stirred up, Wommy's alter ego, the chain-wielding room attendant Elfriede Schäufele, who always scurries through the rows at the SWR carnival from Donzdorf and likes to give her unsolicited opinion on the topics of the day, is of course a must.
