Life is like this or that - alternative city tour with texts and songs

Between shopping mile and displacement, between bridge and encounter: the literary-musical city tour invites you to experience Stuttgart from a perspective that is often overlooked in everyday life. The focus is not on talking about poverty, but on making voices audible. Trott-war city guide Doris Walter, herself experienced in living in precarious circumstances, leads us to places where we would not expect to find culture. The authors Ines Witka and Ute Bareiss will read their own texts. Trott-war editor Daniel Knaus will read texts from the Trott-war writing workshop, giving a voice to voices that are otherwise rarely heard. Singer Eleonore Hochmuth connects the stations with songs by Knef, Brecht and Aznavour. Her music opens up a space in which listening becomes possible.

The project is a cooperation between the Stuttgart regional group of the Bundesverband junger Autoren und Autorinnen e.V. (BVjA) and Trott-war and is sponsored by the city of Stuttgart.
