Talk with Anna Kemper, moderated by Tilman Rau
As a reporter, Anna Kemper investigated the allegations of abuse in German women's gymnastics and spoke to R.E.M. singer Michael Stipe in London about 9/11 and his eating disorder. She accompanied Art Garfunkel on his trek from Dublin to Istanbul and interviewed him along the way. She has received important journalistic awards for her reports and interviews, including the German Reporter Award. As deputy editor-in-chief of ZEITmagazin, her main task now is to put together the entertaining and exciting mix of reports, interviews, photos and columns that the magazine's readers appreciate so much. In this interview, Anna Kemper talks about her most exciting reports and what it's like to be co-responsible for one of the highest-circulation magazines in the German-speaking world.
