In view of our present day, in which nothing seems certain anymore, Anna Katharina Hahn portrays a Stuttgart choir as a mirror of an entire urban society in "The Choir". In her new novel, she sensitively and relentlessly portrays women from three generations - in their strengths and weaknesses, their feelings, their sensitivity and their mercilessness.
Anna Katharina Hahn, born in 1970, lives in Stuttgart. Her longseller "Kürzere Tage" was published in 2009. Her second novel, "Am schwarzen Berg", was shortlisted for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize in 2012 and was number one on the SWR bestseller list. This was followed by "Das Kleid meiner Mutter" in 2016 and the novel "Aus und davon" in 2020, which was on the Spiegel bestseller list several times.
