Yesterday they read Cervantes; today they take the stage themselves: The Authors’ Matinee brings together outstanding voices in contemporary literature. We’ll discuss hope in a literary context, hear about their latest projects, and listen to excerpts from their works. How can we tell stories that inspire hope today? Which stories are just waiting to be written? And what role can literature play in a time when people are searching for direction?
During a multifaceted morning of readings, discussions, and literary presentations, authors Doris Dörrie (*Men*, *Cherry Blossoms—Hanami*), Ilona Hartmann (*Land in Sicht*, *Klarkommen*), and Ingeborg Bachmann Prize winner Peter Wawerzinek (*Rabenliebe*, *Schluckspecht*) will offer an in-depth look into their writing.
Featuring Doris Dörrie (Männer, Kirschblüten – Hanami), Ilona Hartmann (Land in Sicht, Klarkommen), and Ingeborg Bachmann Prize winner Peter Wawerzinek (Rabenliebe, Schluckspecht)
