As part of the summer concert series "Garden Concerts", the well-known singer-songwriter from the Uckermark Bastian Bandt presents "tenderly tragicomic melancholy to steel-string space guitar" with cool drinks, tasty snacks and a warming campfire.
Bastian Bandt, who lives on the edge of the Uckermark, is known for his authentic and profound songs. With his music, which combines influences from Wenzel, Felix Meyer and Bruce Springsteen, he creates his very own sound, which sounds irritatingly familiar and yet new.
His lyrics are poetic and visually powerful, sometimes humorous, sometimes melancholy. Bandt sings about the small and big things in life, about love, loss and the search for one's own place in the world. He is not afraid to touch on political themes and contribute to the search for an East German identity.
His guitar playing is both virtuoso and soulful. It "condenses, carries, catches, drives, stretches, pulls and creates profound, expansive halls, pulsating steps, free-flowing passages." Bandt is a "self-confessed cabaret artist; steadfast and honest", who captivates his audience with charm and wit.
If the weather is unstable, the concert will take place in the charming ambience of Villa Jo.
