BEYOND FUN – Festival-Eröffnung

There’s one feature of this intermunicipal festival that sets it apart from similar events: it’s a traveling festival. BEYOND FUN doesn’t take place in one central location, but moves from one city to the next. On one side of the map, it almost reaches the Black Forest; on the other, the Bavarian border isn’t far away. In between lies the “region of regions.” We want to celebrate this diversity at the opening with a mini-golf course. Each participating municipality has assembled a team to build a course that represents their city—for example, architecturally and historically. Visitors will essentially play their way through the KulturRegion in miniature. At the end, the best courses will be awarded prizes. There’s a cash prize for the audience’s favorite, as well as awards for the most sustainable and the craziest course. After the opening in Stuttgart, the course will make stops in other municipalities. The individual mini-golf courses are presented on the following pages.
