BEYOND FUN KulturRegionale 2026

Every two years, the KulturRegion Stuttgart offers its 43 member municipalities the opportunity to come together in a festival. The next edition of the KulturRegionale will take place from 19.9. to 10.10.2026, with the title BEYOND FUN. Over a period of 3 weeks and 4 weekends, spread across the north of Baden-Württemberg, it will negotiate very different forms of play: from gaming and unusual sporting events to performances and artistic interpretations of well-known board or board games.

A special feature of this festival is the network, the map. We want to see the region as a playing field and ask: What has become of the idea of channeling social pressure or conflicts into peaceful channels in the form of games, sport and competitions? What about the good old team spirit? How can BEYOND FUN not only take place in different locations, but also have an impact across communities? Let's go for it! Among other things with: Mini and soccer golf, an AI altar, figure battle, a wandering computer game library, goat poop bingo and a soccer tournament according to the rules of 1863.
