BIJI is the electrifying collaboration between Kurdish-Swedish artist and actor Robin Nazari and Stockholm-based director and music producer Maceo Frost. Together they form a creative force that fuses music, film and culture into an immersive audiovisual experience - rooted in identity, resistance and joy.

Born out of a shared vision, BIJI is more than just a project - it's a statement. Through their work, the duo opens up a powerful view of Kurdish life, love and celebration culture, reappropriating a long-suppressed cultural narrative. With roots in Kurdish and West Asian musical traditions, their sound is reinterpreted through a vibrant, contemporary blend of hip-hop, Afrobeat, Latin and dance. The result is a globally connectable combination of beats and visual elements that stands for freedom, expression and community.

BIJI's mission is to reshape the perception of Kurdish identity and art. "My father and his entire generation gave up their lives for the freedom I have today," says Robin. Born into a legacy marked by war, displacement and the silencing of Kurdish voices, Robin is now channeling this legacy into an uncompromising creative vision. "It's about being able to express who you are - to believe, to love and to live freely. We show the beauty of the Middle East from our own perspective."
