Tyreek McDole, a 24-year-old Haitian-American singer from sunny Florida, is shining in the vibrant New York scene. With a number of prestigious awards under his belt, Tyreek is considered a rising star in the music world.

In November 2023, Tyreek won 1st place at the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. McDole's award is considered one of the most highly anticipated events in jazz and joins the ranks of previous winners, including outstanding female artists Samara Joy (2019 winner) and Jazzmeia Horn (2013 winner). Tyreek is the second male winner in the competition's 12-year history.

At the acclaimed 2018 Essentially Ellington National Competition at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Tyreek made his vocal debut and won the prestigious Outstanding Vocalist Award.

Tyreek has shared the stage with an impressive list of musicians including Theo Croker, NEA Jazz Master Gary Bartz, Miki Yamanaka, Mike King, Rodney Whitaker, Winard Harper, Marcus Printup, Eric Reed, Carl Allen, Victor Goines and many others.

Tyreek graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music with a degree in jazz performance under the tutelage of esteemed faculty members LaTanya Hall, Gary Bartz, Gerald Cannon, Eddie Henderson, Billy Hart, Dan Wall, Sullivan Fortner and Weedie Braimah.

With roots deep in the Caribbean, New York, Florida and beyond, McDole now charms the bustling streets of New York, leaving an indelible mark on the vibrant music world worldwide.
