Black Patti have dedicated themselves to the American country blues of the 1920s and 1930s. Creaky, artistic and touching roots music between deep black delta blues, bouncy ragtime and soulful spirituals resounds in the Laboratorium today.
Black Patti sing songs about weird characters, great passions and failed existences.
Interesting anecdote in passing: Robert Crumb, world-famous illustrator, founding father of the U-Comix scene and prewar blues specialist, who once even refused to draw the Rolling Stones, designed the cover of the current Black Patti album "Satan's Funeral". A musical and artistic accolade for the Munich-based band.
Peter Crow C. - guitar, vocals, harmonica
Ferdinand "Jelly Roll" Kraemer - guitar, vocals, mandolin
