In BODIES ON TRIAL - §218, personal experience and legal fiction meet in a courtroom. The performance reveals contradictions and tensions surrounding German abortion law. Who is heard, who is silenced? How do bodies become evidence? This participatory tribunal performance invites the audience to reflect on the tensions between law, autonomy and the body, to discuss them and become witnesses - and to think about justice beyond the law within government systems.
