Boßeln auf Schwäbisch für Gruppen
Duration
150 minutes
The teams of 4 - 8 throwers compete against each other in a sporting competition. From the starting point, the boßel ball is thrown as far as possible along the course until the first team reaches the finish line. The aim of bowls is to cover a set distance with as few throws as possible.
Various routes and circuits with a length of 3 - 4 km have to be completed.
A handcart filled with delicacies invites you to take a break from the game, during which you can take a sip of "target water".
Courses:
Farm tracks and forest paths are used as throwing routes. The routes are mostly flat, so that a distance of 3 - 4 km can be covered.
Scoring:
Each team receives a score sheet on which every point is entered. At the finish, the winner is determined by the current number of throws.
Teams:
Groups of 4 - 8 people are suitable as team sizes. The order of the players is noted on the score sheet and adhered to throughout the game.
Course of the game:
The bowler tries to throw the ball as far as possible. The throw is completed when the boßel ball comes to rest on or at the side of the road. The next throw is made from this point. The team whose ball is behind throws first.
