That's a brief description of the theater/concert performance BOWIEdeutsch
by the Munich artist siblings Anouschka and Anina Doinet, according to the
Süddeutsche Zeitung, a "perfectly formed mixture of video art, performance and song",
performance and singing".
For many years, the musical and performance artists and siblings Anouschka and Anina
siblings Anouschka and Anina Doinet have been working with a central figure in pop culture for many years:
David Bowie.
This preoccupation has resulted in adaptations into German and an evening with
16 songs as 16 mixed media theater experiences:
A stringent frenzy of live singing, video art and music revolving around the cosmos of the
artist of the century David Bowie.
The familiar songs have a completely different effect when they are visually and musically
and musically reinterpreted and performed in German. The show therefore not only offers an
exciting musical event, but above all the opportunity to get to know David Bowie anew.
In summer 2024, BOWIEdeutsch was named one of the best productions of the season in the
best productions of the season (in the interdisciplinary category).

David Bowie's music is the soundtrack to so many lives, young and old.
Materializing the spirit of his songs, discovering a world of music, language and images for each song and
