Christoph Neuhaus’ GROOVE SUPERGROUP

Neuhaus | Gehring | Meixner | Kersting | Dapper - On this special evening at BIX, Stuttgart guitarist and state jazz prize winner BW Christoph Neuhaus meets a real dream line-up from the German jazz, pop and soul scene that is guaranteed to shake the boards.

The musicians have already played together at many concerts in different line-ups and venues, so it was only a matter of time before there had to be a date when the five musicians would all be on stage together.

Rooted and united in their love of groove, jazz and soul, the GROOVE SUPERGROUP will perform their favorite songs from soul history as well as their own pieces.

Cherry Gehring will be known to most as a longtime background singer and keyboarder for PUR and as the founder of the comedy group BACKBLECH, but his voice and personality as a soul singer and frontman are also exceptional.

Martin Meixner is one of the outstanding German keyboard virtuosos and can be heard internationally with Gaby Moreno, for example. Bassist Rolf Kersting plays with THE VOICE Kids and Let's Dance, among others, and Frank Dapper has also been playing drums with PUR in stadiums across Germany for years.
