Klasse(n)bücher - readings for school classes with Jana Fuhrmann, moderated by Tobias Elsäßer

Animal rights, veganism, mental health - a stirring coming-of-age novel full of moving themes: loner Jella lets the madness of the world bounce off her until she meets Linn. Linn looks on when animals are tortured, exploited and killed. After a brief hesitation, Jella joins her activist group and allows real closeness in her friendship with Linn. But soon the actions are no longer enough for Jella and she seeks contact with more radical animal rights activists. The fight for the animals becomes her purpose in life. She gives everything for the cause, but suddenly nothing works anymore ... After studying philosophy, modern German literature and psychology, Jana Fuhrmann worked in press and public relations at the theater. She currently works as a press officer for a large animal welfare NGO and lives in Stuttgart.
