Moderator: Björn Springorum | At the age of 13, the boy is at that age: life hangs askew on its hinges, everyday life becomes a smouldering fire, first love overwhelms and makes the days tremble. In 1969, time still stands still in many places in West Berlin, and yet everything changes for the boy. Michael Wildenhain's novel Das Ende vom Lied (The End of the Song) tells of this inner turmoil and of a West Berlin beyond the events of 1968, a city that will never exist again.
